SUCTION LIPECTOMY: (liposuction)
Suctioning out the underlying fat can often reduce fatty bulges that are out of proportion to the general contour of the patient’s body. This easily tolerated, theoretically simple procedure requires the skill of an experienced surgeon to get a nice contour change. For best results, the patient’s skin should be elastic enough to contract after the underlying volume is reduced.

ABDOMINOPLASTY: (Tummy Tuck)
Aging, pregnancy, prior abdominal surgery or weight loss can result in fullness of the abdomen. This condition is usually caused by a combination of stretched, weakened muscle and excessive, drooping skin. Suction lipectomy is not an option in these cases because the skin does not have sufficient elasticity.

Instead, this procedure reinforces the muscle and removes excess skin and the underlying fat layer. The result is a significantly flatter and tighter abdomen. The more recent use of a lower semicircular incision results in a scar hidden in the bikini line, invisible in most clothing. If you only have moderate skin excess in the lower abdomen, a mini tuck can be performed. This requires an even smaller scar and less recovery time.

BRACHIOPLASTY: (upper arm lift)
Sagging skin in the upper inner arm can be congenital or the result of weight loss. This condition can be remedied by removing the excess skin. Occasionally suction lipectomy can be added to this procedure to improve the final contour.

BELT LIPECTOMY:
Some patients, after massive weight loss, are left with a condition where their abdominal excessive skin fold continues circumferentially around their entire torso. Evident are drooping veils on the sides of their hips that continue around to the back resulting in sagging buttocks. Traditional abdominoplasty would not address the entirety of this issue. The surgeon must remove a "donut" of tissue all the way around the torso and lift up the lower tissue, almost as if pulling up pants. This procedure results in an immediate remarkable change in body contour.

THIGH LIFT:
After large weight loss, many are left with sagging skin in the inner aspect of their thighs. A select group of these patients who eliminate a good amount of weight and volume may consider a thigh lift. Excess skin and underlying tissue is removed and the remaining inner thigh skin is tightened and re–contoured.
